Wine Tasting & Food Pairing Workshop
Intuitive workshop where 5 glasses of premium local wines are paired with traditional delicacies. Using the systematic approach to tasting wine, workshop instructor Mr. Daniel Čečavac (WSET Level 3) teaches how to properly taste, assess quality, enjoy and pair wine with food. Many versatile wine tasting techniques are presented along with various indigenous grape varieties and distinctive wine styles of Dalmatia.
Wines are sourced from small boutique wineries and some of the most exotic vineyards in Croatia. Each wine is paired with a traditional finger food such as; sun-dried tomatoes, two years aged homemade prosciutto and cheese, fig cake and more. You will have an opportunity to learn basic techniques in wine tasting and food pairing while tasting meticulously composed selection of wines including rare vintages. The workshop currently takes place in Makarska, Baška Voda and Split.
